• GFTP (Global Finance Talent Program) is an accelerated career development program that recruits top university graduates who have both a passion for technology and a strong aptitude for finance. Consisting of two 12-month, full time rotations in key Finance positions at Lenovo, GFTP offers new graduates the opportunity to develop their professional finance skills and business acumen, while gaining valuable work experience.
• During your time at Lenovo, you will learn how to operate in a multi-cultural company and make important contributions to Lenovo’s global business.
• Learning opportunities and responsibilities:
  • This is a full-time position with a dedicated, two-year development program which includes:
  • A comprehensive onboarding and training plan focused on strengthening core financial and accounting skills in the fast-paced, competitive world of technology.
  • Two 12-month rotations as a Financial Analyst in key Finance functions (e.g. Accounting, Group Control, Internal Audit, Business Group Finance, GEO Finance, etc.) to establish a strong foundation of corporate accounting and finance knowledge:
• Core FP&A
  • Supporting the weekly Forecast process – execute Countermeasure; highlight business trends to Management team
  • Participate in the monthly Forecast process – support local FP&A team in delivering a Closest to the pin business outlook
  • Participate actively in the Monthly & Quarterly closing process
  • Support CFO in preparation and finalization of the annual statutory reports
  • Support the CFO in the Annual Planning process
  • Maintain and optimize the financial reporting tool (Working file)
  • Drive small projects on power BI and playbook management with historical trends and fwd looking outlook
• Upon completion of GFTP, you will be prepared to assume key positions within the Lenovo Finance organization globally.

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related (open to candidates who graduated in 2020, 2021 or 2022).
• Up to 2 years of working experience (can be through internships) in the areas of analytics, statistics, accounting or finance.
• Flexibility, willingness to learn, to work and provide support to colleagues based in different countries and time zones, which may require some work outside of standard business hours.
• Team player with attention to detail; ability to work independently and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent data analysis, reporting, and project management skills.
• Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
